Taken from El Michels Affair’s forthcoming EP The Abominable is brand new single ‘Cham Cham’, the B-side to ‘Murkit Gem’. Instantly uplifting and light, ‘Cham Cham’ features sunny guitar strums, jovial melodies and sprightly percussive hits. The wonderful Piya Malik appears on the track, infusing the music with her funk-leaning vocals sung in Hindi. There seems to be a kitsch, theatrical sound that’s birthed when Piya Malik and El Michels Affair collaborate, and we’re big fans of it every time.
